Laboratory Front Office Training Lead

  • Responsible for the training and coaching of the Front Office and front office lab employees
  • Demonstrate proper procedures of the lab and maintain high accuracy when processing the samples
  • Supervises the personnel and job functions of the LaboratoryFront Office and Specimen processing including scheduling, and assuring thatall work is completed as required.  
  • Ensuring excellent customer service is renderedpersonally, and by all staff including timely response to customers, properphone etiquette, and friendly patient greeting/scripting.
  • Writing and upkeep of all front office and specimenprocessing policies and procedures.
  • Will work in specimen processing/front officearea and will assign and assume duties to ensure proper work flow.
  • Work with other Leads in Laboratory, and serveas part of the Laboratory Management Committee.
  • Learn all aspects of Laboratory/HospitalComputer systems.
  • Oversee Laboratory Billing, including ABNcompliance.



  • Associates degree and/or CLA certificationrequired. Will consider applicant ifthey have Clinical Laboratory experience of 2 years or more.
  • Successful completion of a phlebotomy training program required if not a CLA.
  • 2 years of verifiable, good customerservice experience required.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively inEnglish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
