Job Description

Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician
  • Responsible for performing various routine or special clinical laboratory tests in one or more sections of the laboratory using automated equipment, manual testing and microscopic analysis to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. 
  • Effectively interacts with patients, hospital employees, managers, and other health team members while maintaining established professional standards. 
  • Two positions available, Swing shift and Grave yard.  Swing shift runs from Thursday - Wednesday, 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM, and Grave yard runs from Thursday - Wednesday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM.


Qualifications

Requirements:
  • MLT or MT required (Associates or Bachelors degree in Lab Technology).
  • Ability to organize workload.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current ASCP Certification or equivalent.
Preferences:
  •  Previous MLT/MT work experience preferred, especially in Blood Bank
