Centrile Sterile Tech
Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Surgical Services Director and Clinical Coordinator, the Central Services Technician performs various duties in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Sterile Supply Department. Tasks include the decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Hospital departments and physician offices, delivery, pick-up, cleaning and tracking of reusable medical equipment, and overseeing repairs of those items.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a central sterile tech strongly preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
