CNA - Wound Care - Full Time

CNA - Wound Care
Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Department Director and Clinical Coordinator, The Hyperbaric and Wound Care Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides general support to the clinic’s physician and nursing staff by following basic wound care protocols. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, DNV, Standards of Professional and Ethical practice. The CNA handles routine tasks including, but not limited to; vital signs, ambulation, transfers, and transports while assuring patient rooms are safe, comfortable, and aesthetically presentable. The CNA assists with wound care, under the supervision of a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) including: wound measuring and photographs, wound dressing removal and wound cleansing. Assists nursing staff with dressing changes.
- Requires current C.N.A. license valid in the state of Utah
- Must have current BLS (CPR) issued by American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
- Prefer one year of C.N.A. experience.
- Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
