Education Specialist - Full Time

The Education Specialist provides comprehensive secretarial support to the Education, Quality, and Human Resources departments. He/She must demonstrate proficient communication, computer, typing, writing, and work management skills. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions, must have a pleasant personality, must have the ability to interact effectively with hospital employees, visitors, and physicians. This assistant must be cheerful, courteous, tactful, and able to meet the public. Must be able to adhere to confidentiality requirements necessary to working in a hospital. All other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Computer experience to include Windows environment, MS Word, MS Excel, email, and local area networks.
- Able to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Understanding of medical terminology helpful.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
